Asia Climate Philanthropy Advisory was founded to meet this moment.

Built by funders for funders, ACPA was started by a group of philanthropic leaders in Asia and around the world who recognised both the urgency of the climate challenge and the need for an Asia-rooted platform to support philanthropic engagement in this unique region.

Incubated by Tara Climate Foundation and supported by regional and global partners, ACPA is led by a team with experience on both sides of the giving equation, spanning philanthropy, social impact, and climate systems across Asia. These perspectives give us a nuanced view of Asian-led climate solutions and how we can strengthen the region’s climate philanthropy ecosystem.

Our Role

Climate can feel like a daunting space to navigate, with its scope and scale. That’s where ACPA helps funders find their bearings. This means figuring out where they’re at as a starting point, understanding their priorities, and mapping a direction to move toward.

Rather than prescribing a single path, we provide clear reference points that guide donors to make informed decisions. We help philanthropists see climate in an Asian context, develop relevant strategies, and connect with credible opportunities and peers across the region.
